Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
We are seeking an experienced and visionary Head of Architecture to lead our architectural engineering department. In this senior leadership role, you will oversee the conceptualization, design, and execution of major architectural projects, ensuring innovation, sustainability, and compliance with industry standards. You will manage a team of architects and engineers, guide cross-functional collaboration, and represent the firm in high-level client and stakeholder meetings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise all architectural design and engineering processes.
- Develop strategic architectural goals in alignment with organizational objectives.
- Review and approve designs, blueprints, and construction documents.
- Ensure all designs meet safety, zoning, and environmental standards.
- Collaborate closely with project managers, civil engineers, MEP teams, and contractors.
- Oversee multiple high-scale projects from concept to completion.
- Foster innovation and integrate sustainable, cost-effective design practices.
- Manage departmental budgets, timelines, and resource allocation.
- Mentor and develop a team of architects and junior engineers.
- Stay current on industry trends, technologies, and regulatory changes.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor s or Master s degree in Architecture, Architectural Engineering, or related field.
- Professional licensure (e.g., RA, RIBA, LEED, etc.) is highly preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in architecture or engineering, including 5+ years in a leadership role.
- Proven experience in managing large-scale architectural or construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of CAD, BIM (Revit), and other architectural software tools.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
- Ability to balance creative vision with practical implementation.
