Roles & Responsibilities

Summary of Role / Job Purpose:



The Head of Business Development will be responsible for overseeing all operations, business development, and strategic planning for the company’s business within [MENA]. This role involves leading the local team to achieve financial targets, ensure regulatory compliance, and enhance the company’s market presence. The successful candidate will act as the primary representative of the company in the country/region, fostering a strong organizational culture aligned with corporate values.








Main Duties and Responsibilities:



Strategy Development and Execution: Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve business objectives, increase market penetration, and maximize profitability in the [MENA Region]

Operational Management: Oversee daily operations, ensuring efficient and effective practices in line with corporate policies and standards

Regulatory Compliance: Ensure the company adheres to all relevant local regulations and industry standards. Maintain strong relationships with regulatory authorities and ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards

Financial Management: Manage the country’s/region’s P&L, and budget planning, to meet business financial goals

Leadership and Team Development: Lead, motivate, and develop the local team, fostering an environment of high performance and accountability. Conduct regular performance reviews and succession planning

Sales and Marketing Oversight: Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to drive business growth through targeted client acquisition strategies and effective marketing campaigns

Client and Stakeholder Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders to support business growth and reputation

Market Analysis: Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and client need to inform business strategy and identify opportunities for growth

Any other Duties relevant to the role


Required Skills & Experience:





Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field. An MBA or other advanced degree is preferred

Minimum of 7 years of experience in sales and business development within the FX and CFDs industry with a minimum of 3 years of experience in senior management role

Deep understanding of the financial markets, regulatory environment, and local market dynamics

Proven track record in strategic planning, sales leadership, and operations management

Strong leadership and team management capabilities

Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills

Strategic thinking with the ability to drive operational excellence

Proficiency with CRM software and data analytics tools

Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability to changing environments
