Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Functional Duities
- Develop and implement commercial strategies to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
- Identify new business opportunities, markets, and strategic partnerships.
- Lead market analysis, competitor benchmarking, and pricing strategies.
- Support long-term business planning and growth initiatives.
- Oversee sales and business development teams to maximize performance.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and key stakeholders.
- Lead negotiations for major contracts and commercial agreements.
- Ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
- Manage preparation and submission of tenders, bids, and proposals.
- Review and negotiate contracts, terms, and commercial conditions.
- Ensure contractual compliance and minimize commercial risks.
- Coordinate with legal, finance, procurement, and operations teams.
- Monitor sales performance, margins, and profitability.
- Prepare commercial forecasts, budgets, and performance reports.
- Drive cost optimization and revenue enhancement initiatives.
- Ensure proper commercial governance and reporting.
People Development
- Interview and select direct reports and validate hiring decisions for the function.
- Provide coaching and request needed training for direct reports ensuring continuous individual development.
- Ensure a healthy working environment for the department employees through focusing on team building and motivation initiatives.
- Conduct regular performance and competency evaluations for direct reports while delivering constant constructive feedback for higher achievements and further development
Desired Candidate Profile
Education
- Bachelor s degree in Business Administration, Commerce,Marketing or a related field (MBA preferred).
- Proven experience in leadership and strategic commercial roles.
Experience
- Minimum 8 years of experience in commercial management, sales, contracts, or business development.
- Proven experience in leadership and strategic commercial roles.
- Experience in tendering and contract negotiations is highly preferred.
Skills and abilities
- Fluent English both spoken and written.
- Strong Commercial and Financial Acumen
- Strong knowledge of automotive technologies, enterprise applications, and HPC infrastructure.
- Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, presentation skills.
- Ability to operate in dynamic, multi-market environments and adapt strategies accordingly
- Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach and ability to close complex deals.
- Willingness and ability to travel internationally on a regular basis.
