Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee the demand planning function to ensure accurate forecasting and inventory optimization across all product categories.
  • Develop and implement robust demand planning processes, tools, and best practices to support business objectives and growth.
  • Collaborate closely with sales, marketing, supply chain, and finance teams to gather market intelligence and align forecasts with business strategies.
  • Analyze historical sales data, market trends, and promotional activities to generate reliable demand forecasts.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to forecast accuracy, inventory levels, and service rates.
  • Identify potential risks and opportunities in the supply chain and proactively recommend solutions to mitigate disruptions.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance forecasting accuracy and operational efficiency.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of demand planners, fostering a culture of high performance and professional growth.
  • Manage the integration of new technologies and systems to streamline demand planning activities.
  • Present regular updates and strategic recommendations to senior management regarding demand trends and inventory health.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in demand planning, supply chain management, or a related field.
  • Proven track record in leading demand planning teams within a fast-paced, product-driven environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective cross-functional collaboration.
  • Demonstrated expertise in forecasting methodologies and demand planning software.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results under tight deadlines.
  • Experience with process improvement and change management initiatives.
  • Strong leadership and team development capabilities.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools.
