Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Lead the daily, mid-term, and long-term management of the EYFS provision.

Teach one Early Years class while overseeing curriculum planning and assessment (there will be a substantial remission for the performance of management duties)

Monitor teaching standards and ensure high-quality learning and development.

Support the Head with EYFS-related matters and school management.

Lead, mentor, and support Early Years teachers, and teaching assistants.

Manage EYFS budgets and resources.

Maintain effective communication with staff, parents, and the school leadership team.

Support pupil recruitment and contribute to whole-school development.

Desired Candidate Profile

Early Years Teacher with a relevant degree and QTS.

Strong knowledge and practice of EYFS curriculum and assessment.

Experience leading a team within an educational setting.

Outstanding classroom practitioner with experience raising pupil attainment.

Early Years SENDCo qualification is desirable.

We are looking for someone creative, organised, and passionate about Early Years education; an individual who can inspire both children and colleagues. Strong communication skills, flexibility, and a commitment to safeguarding are essential.
