Head of Early Years

Capital School Bahrain is seeking to appoint an experienced and inspiring Head of Early Years to lead and further develop our Early Years Foundation Stage provision.

This is a key leadership role within the Primary phase, suitable for an established EYFS leader or an experienced Early Years teacher with significant leadership responsibility, who is passionate about high-quality early childhood education and child development.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Providing strategic and operational leadership of the EYFS (Nursery and Reception)

• Ensuring high-quality teaching, learning, and assessment in line with the EYFS Framework

• Leading curriculum planning, provision, and continuous improvement across Early Years

• Supporting and developing EYFS staff through coaching, mentoring, and line management

• Monitoring progress, wellbeing, and outcomes to ensure strong foundations for learning

• Building strong relationships with parents and carers

• Ensuring safeguarding, welfare, and statutory compliance within Early Years

• Contributing to whole-school improvement priorities and leadership initiatives
