Roles & Responsibilities


Mission
We are looking for a competent, dynamic and leader-oriented IMAGING CARE MANAGER, who has the patient at heart to join the Department of Hospital Care and Hygiene at HUIR. He/she will be responsible for supervising and organizing the activity of the imaging center, managing the schedule of interventions and examinations, leading and coordinating the care teams, and ensuring optimal management of the technical and material resources of the department. He/she will also ensure the efficiency, quality and safety of services, by guaranteeing effective coordination with the medical staff and paramedical staff.
His/her main missions will be structured around the following axes:
1. Managerial and leadership skills:
- Management of paramedical teams in imaging: recruitment, integration, support, evaluation, leadership and motivation of radiology technicians and other staff of the center.
- Application of HR procedures: ability to supervise, reframe or sanction professionals in the event of failure, in conjunction with human resources.
- Adherence to hospital projects: mobilization of teams around the HUIR medical and organizational project, in conjunction with the Hospital Care and Hygiene Department.
- Professional skills management: setting up the professional development path, targeted training, and managing skills needs in relation to the evolution of imaging techniques.
- Planning the activities of the division: developing schedules, managing absences, allocating human resources according to activity flows.
- Local leadership: mobilizing teams around common objectives of quality, safety and performance, developing the autonomy and accountability of agents.
- Conflict prevention and management: ability to detect tensions, intervene quickly and ensure a calm and collaborative working environment.
2. Technical and methodological skills:
- Management of the resources of the imaging department: coordination of human, technical (imaging devices) and budgetary resources in conjunction with the departments concerned.
- Management of quality and professional practices: implementation of the quality approach, analysis of indicators, monitoring of internal audits and action plans.
- Regulatory knowledge: mastery of hygiene, radiation protection, safety standards, and regulatory obligations specific to medical imaging.
- Mastery of imaging protocols: knowledge of care protocols specific to the examinations performed (scanner, MRI, etc.) and collaboration with radiologists.
- Mastery of specific information systems: management of RIS (Radiology Information System) and PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System) tools, monitoring of traceability and data.
3. Interpersonal skills:
- Professional communication: listening and dialogue with patients, teams, radiologists, and other departments.
- Interdisciplinary collaborative work: coordination with other departments, the operating room, emergency room, medicine, etc.
- Ethical commitment: promotion of the values ​​of respect, kindness, confidentiality, and fairness in patient care.
4. Skills specific to the imaging center:
- Knowledge of the health system and the imaging sector: understanding of current issues (patient pathways, activity-based pricing, relevance of care).
- Educational supervision: tutoring trainee technicians, supporting new arrivals, leading internal training.
- Patient monitoring in the imaging pathway: supervision of reception conditions, verification of care and specific needs.
- Administrative management of the center: supervision of computer entries, maintenance of dashboards, updating of activity data in the HIS.
