Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Inspect facilities periodically to determine problems and necessary maintenance
Prepare weekly maintenance schedules and allocate work
Recruit, supervise and train maintenance technicians
Hire and supervise tradesmen during installations, repairs or maintenance (electricians, plumbers etc.)
Inspect and maintain building systems (heating, ventilation etc.)
Contribute to the development of maintenance budget and ensure compliance
Monitor inventory of materials and equipment
Participate in coordinaton of projects (e.g. renovations)
Ensure adherence to quality standards and health and safety regulations

Desired Candidate Profile

Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in maintenance management within the dairy, food production, agriculture, or manufacturing sectors.

  • Proven track record in leading maintenance teams and managing large-scale operations.
  • Strong knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance methodologies.
  • Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) and maintenance planning tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a data-driven approach.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, control costs, and optimize resource allocation.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Solid understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations relevant to industrial operations.
  • Ability to work onsite and adapt to dynamic, fast-paced environments.
  • Fluency in English and Arabic is preferred.
