Head of Night Care

We are looking for a competent, dynamic and leader-oriented NIGHT CARE MANAGER who has the patient at heart to join the Department of Hospital Care and Hygiene at HUIR. He/she will be responsible for assessing the state of health of patients and analyzing care situations, designing, defining and planning personalized care projects, providing preventive, curative or palliative care aimed at promoting, maintaining and restoring health, and carrying out therapeutic education and patient support.

Its main missions will be based on the following axes:

1. Management and coordination:

-Plan, organize, coordinate and evaluate night activities: This involves setting priorities, allocating resources, monitoring activities and evaluating results.

-Optimize dedicated resources and equipment: Efficient management of staff, equipment and premises to ensure optimal patient care.

- Manage night health staff: Supervision, evaluation, management of schedules.

- Participate in the implementation of the evaluation of the quality of the professional practices of night agents: Ensure quality monitoring and implement continuous improvement actions.

- Carry out an annual night-time activity report: Make an inventory of activities and identify areas for improvement.

2. Interpersonal and communication:

- Optimize the integrative process of night agents in the pole and service policy: Promote the adherence of the teams to the projects and objectives of the establishment.

- Participate in the implementation of the institutional medical-nursing project: Contribute to the implementation of the project at the level of the department.

- Work in partnership with the various actors: Doctors, other health executives, support services.

3. Quality and safety of care:

- Promote the continuity of patients' ECP over 24 hours in the interest of safety and quality.

- Ensure consistent and secure patient care throughout their stay.

- Participate in the implementation of the evaluation of the quality of the professional practices of night guards as well as risk management: Identify and prevent risks, improve practices.

4. Technical and methodological skills:

-Master management tools: Use computer tools for care management and reporting.

-Know the regulations: Know the standards and procedures in force in the health sector.

-Analyze data: Use quality indicators to evaluate practices and identify areas for improvement for nighttime patient care.

- Anticipate and support new business orientations.

- Monitor and control care activities using indicators.

5. In collaboration with the Hospital Care and Hygiene Department and the Human Capital Department:

- Propose changes to the agents' schedules if necessary to perform the organization.

Profile

- Diploma of Multi-Purpose Nurse/Nurse Anaesthetist;

- Significant professional experience of at least ten (10) years;

- Know how to arbitrate and/or decide between different proposals, in a given environment;

- Ability to argue, influence and convince in his/her field of expertise;

- Ability to evaluate, develop and enhance the skills of its employees;

- Ability to set objectives, measure results and evaluate collective and/or individual performance;

- Ability to manage, animate/communicate, involve one or more teams;

- Know how to plan, organize, distribute the workload and allocate resources for their implementation;

- Proficiency in the French language (written and oral);

- Knowledge of the English language is an asset;

- Strong team management and Human Resources Management skills;

- Excellent communication and interpersonal management skills;

- Ability to manage conflicts, work under pressure and make decisions in complex situations;

- Autonomy, sense of responsibility and good organization;

- Highly adaptable, effective time management, ability to multitask or project simultaneously;

- Empathy, rigor, availability and diligence.
