Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Lead overall operations across warehousing, distribution, logistics, fleet, and customs clearance.
- Design and improve warehouse operations, inventory control, space utilization, and loss prevention.
- Manage distribution network planning, route optimization, delivery standards, and fleet performance.
- Ensure on-time and accurate customer deliveries across all channels.
- Monitor logistics costs, productivity, cost per case, and service-level performance.
- Manage customs clearance, import/export documentation, bonded operations, and regulatory compliance.
- Coordinate with customs authorities, clearing agents, 3PL providers, and transport vendors.
- Support operational readiness for new brands, business growth, and regional expansion.
- Improve SOPs, operational governance, productivity, and process efficiency.
- Work closely with commercial, finance, and executive leadership teams.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field.
- MBA or Master's degree is preferred.
- Professional certifications such as CSCP, CPIM, CLTD, Lean Six Sigma, or trade compliance are an advantage.
- 15 20 years of experience in operations, logistics, supply chain, or FMCG distribution.
- Minimum 5 7 years in a senior leadership role.
- Strong experience in warehousing, inventory, fleet management, distribution, customs clearance, and 3PL management.
- Experience with ERP, WMS, TMS, and inventory systems.
- Regional exposure within Jordan and GCC markets is preferred.
