Roles & Responsibilities

Head of Outdoor Equipment Development


You will join a dynamic project team and will be in charge of design activities , digital mock-up management (DMU) and technical monitoring of exterior automotive plastic parts .

You will be involved in all product developments, from impact analysis to validation support and integration of external components (bumpers, trims, external equipment).

This position is for a junior or experienced technician , with initial or stable experience in automotive plastic design , PLM management and a good understanding of project processes (APQP).

Desired profile:
Training:
  • Technician Diploma / Specialized Technician / Professional Licence in Mechanical Engineering, Plastics Engineering, Mechatronics or equivalent.
  • Specialization in exterior plastic parts is appreciated.
Experience:
15 years of experience in the design or development of exterior plastic parts.
Experience in bumpers / Ext Trim / exterior equipment desired.
Good knowledge of project processes and validation tracking.
Technical skills:
Mastery of the principles of mechanical design of external plastic parts .
Good knowledge of assembly constraints, vehicle interfaces and geometric requirements.

Behavioral skills:
Good communication skills in French; professional English appreciated.
Rigour, organisation, progressive autonomy according to level of experience.
Analytical skills, critical thinking and proactivity.
Ability to work effectively in a team and coordinate with multiple stakeholders (suppliers, project, validation).

Ability to analyze technical impacts and contribute to problem-solving.
Knowledge of automotive safety/quality standards and requirements.
Behavioral skills:
Good communication skills in French; professional English appreciated.
