Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and oversee the PE curriculum in alignment with the school s educational vision and standards.

  • Lead and inspire a team of PE teachers, providing professional development and performance evaluations.
  • Promote extracurricular sports programs and competitions to encourage student participation and school spirit.
  • Ensure safe and effective use of sports facilities, equipment, and resources.
  • Collaborate with other departments to integrate physical education with broader educational initiatives.
  • Monitor student progress and wellbeing related to physical education and health.
  • Manage budgets, resources, and logistics for PE activities and events.

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelor s degree in Physical Education, Sports Science, or a related field.

  • Recognized teaching qualification relevant to PE.
  • Minimum of 5 years teaching experience in physical education, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven experience in developing and leading successful PE programs.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to motivate and engage students across a range of abilities and interests.
  • Commitment to student welfare, inclusion, and promoting healthy lifestyles.
  • Experience in managing sports events and inter-school competitions is a plus.
