Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily production operations to ensure alignment with the production plan and company objectives.
  • Ensure adherence to manufacturing standards, safety regulations, and quality requirements.
  • Monitor production KPIs (efficiency, output, scrap rate, downtime) and --implement corrective actions.
  • Lead, coach, and develop production supervisors, engineers, and line operators.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and training needs analysis.
  • Collaborate with Quality, Maintenance, and Engineering teams to resolve production issues.
  • Implement Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, and other process optimisation initiatives.
  • Ensure smooth integration of new models and technologies into production.
  • Manage manpower, materials, and machine utilisation to optimise production output.
  • Coordinate with Supply Chain to ensure availability of raw materials and components.
  • Drive cost reduction initiatives without compromising quality.
  • Develop and execute production strategies aligned with company goals.
  • Provide regular reports on production performance to senior management.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and CAPEX planning for the production department.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Education: Bachelor s degree in Mechanical Engineering .
  • Experience: Minimum 10 12 years in manufacturing, with at least 5 years in a senior production leadership role within the home appliances / refrigerator industry.
  • Strong knowledge of refrigerator manufacturing processes (assembly lines, SKD/CKD operations, sheet metal, plastic, foaming, testing).
  • Proven experience in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and TPM methodologies.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong analytical mindset with ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Good command of English written and spoken .
