Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the complete project lifecycle from initiation through commissioning and handover.

  • Oversee EPC, construction, maintenance, shutdown, turnaround, brownfield, and greenfield projects within Oil & Gas and Power sectors.

  • Develop project execution plans, schedules, resource allocation plans, and budgets.

  • Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and in compliance with contractual requirements.

  • Monitor project performance, progress, and financial status, implementing corrective actions when necessary.

  • Manage project risks, opportunities, and mitigation strategies.

  • Coordinate closely with Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Planning, Quality, HSE, and Commercial teams.

  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, and stakeholders.

  • Lead project review meetings and provide regular progress reports to senior management.

  • Ensure compliance with international standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project efficiency and profitability.

  • Lead, mentor, and develop project managers and project teams.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Industrial, or related discipline).

  • Master's Degree or MBA will be an added advantage.

  • PMP or equivalent Project Management certification preferred.

Desired Candidate Profile

Experience Requirements

  • Minimum 5–7 years of proven experience in Project Management within the Oil & Gas and/or Power sectors.

  • Experience managing EPC, Industrial Construction, Power Generation, Transmission, Distribution, Refinery, Petrochemical, or Energy projects.

  • Strong understanding of project planning, budgeting, cost control, contract management, procurement, and project execution.

  • Experience handling multiple large-scale projects simultaneously.

  • GCC/Middle East experience is highly preferred.

Preferred International Company Experience

Candidates with experience in internationally recognized companies such as:

  • Saudi Aramco projects and contractors

  • SAMSUNG E&A

  • Petrofac

  • Technip Energies

  • Saipem

  • McDermott

  • Wood

  • Fluor

  • Bechtel

  • Similar international EPC, Oil & Gas, Power, or Industrial Construction organizations.

Required Skills

  • Strong leadership and people management skills.

  • Strategic project planning and execution.

  • Budgeting, forecasting, and cost control expertise.

  • Contract administration and commercial awareness.

  • Risk management and problem-solving capabilities.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Proficiency in project management software and MS Office applications.

    Preferred Candidate Profile A dynamic project leader with a proven track record of successfully delivering major Oil & Gas and Power projects, capable of managing multidisciplinary teams, driving project profitability, and maintaining strong client relationships.
