Roles & Responsibilities
Sitting within Digital Banking, this Head of Regulatory Technology role will lead a team in designing and delivering a major new digital product - a due diligence platform - spanning Africa.
Dealing with key external stakeholders, including African credit bureaus and other KYC third-parties, you will also lead the drive for uptake and adoption across a vast African client base, aiming to improve trade and boost financial inclusion on the continent.
Key criteria for Head of Regulatory Technology, are:
- A proven passion for Pan-African Trade
- Exceptional academic background (MBA, MSc, etc. preferred)
- Combination of experience in Digital, Leadership, and the underlying Compliance subject matter (AML, KYC, PEP, etc.)
- Understanding of pricing and sales-cycle for Digital solutions, in order to lead the commercial strategy and business development for this team and this solution
- Existing relationships with African regulatory bodies, working knowledge of the African Continental Free Trade Area, and able to represent the bank at Industry & Compliance events globally.
Desired Candidate Profile
