Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Head of Research & Development
- Define and implement the R&D strategy in line with the company's objectives.
- Supervise research and development projects
- To supervise and coordinate technical teams (engineers, technicians, researchers)
- Design and develop new products or improve existing ones
- To monitor technological and competitive developments
- Manage the R&D budget and optimize resources
- Follow the testing, validation and industrialization phases
- Collaborating with the production, marketing and sales departments
- Ensuring compliance with applicable standards and regulations
- Write technical reports and documentation
Desired Candidate Profile
- Mastery of research and development methods
- Knowledge of innovation and industrialization processes
- Technical project management
- Minimum of a 5-year post-secondary degree (Engineering, Master's or Doctorate) in a technical or scientific field
- 5-10 years of experience in R&D or a similar role
- Experience in team management is highly desirable.
