Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Define and implement the R&D strategy in line with the company's objectives
Supervise research and development projects
To supervise and coordinate technical teams (engineers, technicians, researchers)
Design and develop new products or improve existing ones
To monitor technological and competitive developments
Manage the R&D budget and optimize resources
Follow the testing, validation and industrialization phases
Collaborating with the production, marketing and sales departments
Ensure compliance with applicable standards and regulations
Write technical reports and documentation
Profile
Mastery of research and development methods
Knowledge of innovation and industrialization processes
Technical project management
Minimum of a 5-year post-secondary degree (Engineering, Master's or Doctorate) in a technical or scientific field
5 to 10 years of experience in R&D or a similar position
Experience in team management is highly desirable
