Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and execution of the bank s strategic planning process in alignment with its vision and mission.
- Collaborate with senior management to define strategic objectives and KPIs using the Balanced Scorecard approach.
- Oversee feasibility studies, business cases, and strategic initiatives.
- Prepare and execute short- and medium-term tactical plans supporting strategic objectives.
- Oversee strategic budgeting to ensure alignment between financial resources and sustainability initiatives.
- Coordinate across departments to integrate sustainability into strategic planning.
- Monitor industry trends and best practices locally and internationally.Lead and manage the strategic planning, sustainability, and performance monitoring teams.
- Provide coaching, guidance, and development opportunities for team members.
- Foster a collaborative, high-performance culture within the department.
- Monitor strategic initiatives and sustainability KPIs to track progress and improvement opportunities.
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting to senior management and stakeholders.
- Analyze performance results and recommend improvement actions.
- Collaborate with senior leadership and business units to gather inputs and feedback.
- Engage internal and external stakeholders to promote sustainability and transparency.
- Identify risks related to strategic initiatives and sustainability practices.
- Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Oversee Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives.
Desired Candidate Profile
Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in business administration, Sustainability, Environmental Management, or a related field. A Master s degree is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in strategic planning, sustainability, or relevant leadership roles.
- Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies. Strong understanding of organizational structures and functions.
- Strong financial acumen (budgeting, cost analysis, financial statements).
- Leadership and team management skills.
- Strong strategic thinking and long-term planning ability.
- Deep knowledge of sustainability practices and integration into business operations.
