Roles & Responsibilities

Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the structural engineering department, ensuring high-quality design and project delivery.
  • Oversee structural design activities across all project phases, from concept to execution.
  • Coordinate with other engineering disciplines, clients, and stakeholders to ensure project alignment.
  • Review and approve design calculations, drawings, and reports in compliance with international codes and standards.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the structural team.
  • Ensure adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Represent the department in meetings and liaise with relevant authorities when required.

Desired Candidate Profile

Qualifications
  • Bachelor s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master s degree preferred).
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in structural design.
  • Proven leadership and team management skills.
  • Proficient in design software such as ETABS, SAFE, SAP2000, Revit, and AutoCAD.
  • In-depth knowledge of international design codes and construction standards.
  • Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Registered as Head of Specialty with the Jordan Engineers Association (JEA).
