Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with HSE regulations.

Develop and implement health and safety policies, procedures, and training programs for all employees.

Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.

Maintain accurate records of HSE performance, including incident reporting and trend analysis.

Collaborate with project managers and engineers to integrate HSE considerations into project planning and execution.

Provide technical support and guidance to project teams on HSE matters, ensuring a proactive approach to risk management.

Stay updated with the latest HSE regulations and industry best practices, and advise the company on necessary changes.

Conduct HSE audits and assessments to identify areas of improvement and ensure continuous enhancement.

Liaise with local authorities and regulatory bodies to obtain necessary permits and approvals for projects.

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.

Minimum of 3+ years of experience in a similar HSE technician role, preferably in the engineering or construction industry.

Saudi national, with a valid Saudi driving license.

Strong knowledge of HSE regulations and standards applicable in Saudi Arabia.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and experience with HSE software or systems is preferred.

Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and prioritize effectively.

Willingness to travel within Saudi Arabia as required for project assignments.

Certifications in HSE, such as NEBOSH or OSHA, are highly advantageous.

A proactive and safety-conscious mindset, with a commitment to continuous improvement.

SCE certificate is required in Health & Safety.
