Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive health and safety policies and procedures in accordance with local and international regulations.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and safety audits across all textile production facilities to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.
  • Lead incident investigations, analyze root causes, and implement preventive measures to minimize workplace accidents and injuries.
  • Deliver training programs and workshops to educate employees and management on health and safety best practices and regulatory compliance.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with all occupational health and safety laws, standards, and company policies.
  • Collaborate with department heads and production managers to integrate safety protocols into daily operations.
  • Prepare and present detailed reports on safety performance, incidents, and corrective actions to senior management.
  • Coordinate emergency response plans and conduct regular drills to ensure preparedness for potential workplace emergencies.
  • Liaise with external regulatory bodies and auditors during inspections and ensure timely resolution of any identified issues.
  • Continuously review and update safety procedures to reflect changes in legislation, technology, and industry best practices.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in health and safety management, preferably within the manufacturing or textile industry.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing effective health and safety programs.
  • Strong knowledge of local and international occupational health and safety regulations.
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct risk assessments and safety audits.
  • Experience in delivering safety training and workshops to diverse teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration across all levels.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, particularly in incident investigation.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in preparing detailed safety reports and documentation.
  • Willingness to work onsite and engage directly with production teams.
