As a Health and Safety Officer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the well-being and safety of employees and the work environment. Your primary focus will be to implement and oversee health and safety procedures, conduct risk assessments, and ensure compliance with statutory and company health and safety regulations. Your strong communication and analytical skills will aid in fostering a culture of safety and health awareness. In this role, you will work closely with management and employees to promote a safe working environment through training sessions, safety audits, and continuous improvement of safety policies. Your efforts will contribute significantly to mitigating risks and preventing workplace accidents and illnesses.

• Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and develop preventive safety measures for the workplace.
• Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal safety regulations and standards.
• Develop and implement effective health and safety policies and procedures.
• Lead and coordinate regular safety audits and on-site inspections to enforce adherence to safety standards.
• Collaborate with management to set proactive strategies in addressing workplace safety risks.
• Deliver engaging health and safety training sessions for employees at all levels.
• Investigate any workplace accidents or incidents and prepare detailed reports with findings and recommendations.
• Maintain organized records of safety inspections, incident reports, and training sessions conducted.
• Advise management on appropriate emergency response plans and procedures to handle potential crises.
• Stay informed about the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies in health and safety management.
• Promote a positive and proactive safety culture across the organization through ongoing communication.
• Facilitate coordination with external agencies for conducting emergency drills and compliance inspections.

• Bachelor s degree in Occupational Health and Safety or a related field is preferred.
• Minimum of three years' experience as a Health and Safety Officer or in a similar position.
• In-depth knowledge of local, state, and federal health and safety laws and regulations.
• Proven ability to conduct risk assessments and enforce preventative measures with precision.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to train and influence all levels of staff.
• Certification in First Aid, CPR, or any safety training program is highly advantageous.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail for incident investigations and report writing.
