Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Lead and mentor a team of engineers and technicians, setting clear performance objectives and ensuring the successful execution of all daily and long-term transmission and broadcasting activities.

Develop, implement, and enforce operational procedures and instructions for radio and television terrestrial transmission, ensuring adherence to technical standards and a focus on continuous, uninterrupted signal broadcast.

Oversee the planning, coordination, and maintenance of all terrestrial and microwave devices and transmission infrastructure. This includes establishing a robust preventive maintenance system to minimize downtime and prevent disruptions.

Review daily transmission reports, providing actionable feedback and recommendations to the team. Act as the primary point of contact for external transmission coordination, ensuring all broadcasts meet the highest quality standards.

Prepare comprehensive weekly and monthly reports for the department director & PMO team on transmission performance, project status, and team activities.

Stay abreast of the latest scientific and technical developments in broadcasting to ensure the team and equipment remain at the forefront of the industry. Be prepared to work outside of normal hours to address emergency circumstances and ensure 24/7 network readiness.

Effectively distribute tasks and develop workflows, programs, and schedules to optimize team performance and ensure efficient project completion.

Desired Candidate Profile

A bachelor's degree in occupational health and safety, environmental science, engineering, or a related field is commonly required

Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in security engineering, preferably in a corporate environment.

A strong understanding of health and safety regulations, standards, and best practices.

Experience in conducting risk assessments, identifying hazards, and implementing control measures.

Skills in investigating accidents and incidents to determine root causes and prevent future occurrences.

Experience in developing and implementing emergency response plans.

Relevant certifications such as Certified Safety Professional (CSP), or Certified Safety Manager (CSM) can enhance credibility and career prospects.
