Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Work to ensure the safety of all employees and the unit from risks present in the work environment.
- Prepare rescue, first aid, and evacuation plans, and have them approved by the Project Manager.
- Plan and supervise fire alarm and evacuation drills.
- Train current and new employees in the unit on evacuation, alarm, and first aid plans, coordinating with other departments to implement them at appropriate times, and ensure workers are aware of health and safety procedures.
- Participate with management in planning training programs for technicians and members of the health and safety committee.
- Implement a schedule of regular visits and submit reports to the Project Manager.
- Create and update the health and safety record, ensuring all observations are recorded (conditions of departments and sections, safety of individuals and equipment, work injury status, etc.).
- Inspect and follow up on any violations of safety instructions and take appropriate action
- Prepare reports on accidents and injuries after inspection, have them approved by the Project Manager, and write internal reports including measures and precautions to prevent recurrence.
- Issue notifications about work injuries, have them approved by the Project Manager, and send them to the Human Resources Department to take the necessary actions for salary payments during the injury period according to established rules.
- Provide personal protective equipment for employees, train them on its use, and monitor their compliance during work.
- Identify all activities within the site including raw materials, finished products, hazardous materials, and waste, and take necessary precautions to prevent potential risks.
- Analyze data related to work accidents, injuries, occupational diseases, and serious incidents, and extract recommendations.
- Monitor regular and preventive maintenance of fire protection equipment as well as first aid and rescue equipment.
- Issue violations of safety instructions.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Occupational Health and Safety Degree, Diploma or Certificate.
- 2-3 Years of experience in related position.
