Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Safely operate a heavy bus, ensuring timely and efficient transportation of passengers while adhering to all traffic regulations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the bus is in optimal working condition, reporting any mechanical issues promptly.
- Maintain a friendly and professional demeanor while assisting passengers with boarding, disembarking, and any special needs they may have.
- Navigate routes effectively using GPS systems and local maps, adjusting for traffic conditions and road closures as necessary.
Desired Candidate Profile
High school diploma or equivalent, with a strong understanding of traffic laws and safe driving practices.
Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a passenger endorsement and a clean driving record.
Minimum of 3 years of experience driving heavy buses or similar vehicles in a public transportation or commercial setting.
Certifications in first aid and CPR, enhancing the ability to respond effectively in emergencies.
