Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Safely operate and maneuver heavy-duty vehicles, ensuring adherence to all traffic regulations and safety protocols at all times.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to identify any mechanical issues, ensuring the vehicle is in optimal working condition before manuevering.
Load and unload cargo efficiently, using appropriate equipment and techniques to prevent damage to both the vehicle and the freight.
Maintain accurate records of driving hours, mileage, and freight documentation to comply with industry regulations and company policies.
Desired Candidate Profile
High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in heavy vehicle operation are a plus.
Valid Driver’s License (DL) with endorsements relevant to the type of vehicle operated.
Minimum of 3 years of experience driving heavy-duty vehicles in a commercial setting, preferably in transportation or logistics.
Proven track record of safe driving, with a clean driving record and no major violations in the past 5 years.
