Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
need to
- Safely operate and maneuver heavy-duty vehicles, ensuring adherence to all traffic regulations and safety protocols at all times.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to identify any mechanical issues, ensuring the vehicle is in optimal working condition.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and team members to coordinate delivery schedules and address any logistical challenges.
- Demonstrate knowledge of route planning and navigation systems to optimize delivery times and fuel efficiency.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with endorsements relevant to the type of vehicle operated.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience driving heavy-duty vehicles in a commercial setting, preferably in transportation or logistics.
- Ability to operate various types of heavy-duty machinery and vehicles, including but not limited to dump trucks and flatbeds.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients, dispatchers, and team members.
