Roles & Responsibilities

Heavy Equipment Operator Equipment: CAT 216B3 Skid Steer Loader (3 units) & CAT 426 Backhoe Loader (2 units)

Role Summary The Heavy Equipment Operator is responsible for safely operating CAT 216B3 Skid Steer Loaders and CAT 426 Backhoe Loaders for excavation, loading, trenching, grading, and general construction activities on project sites across Abu Dhabi. Operators must follow ADM safety standards and ensure proper daily inspection and care of machinery. Key Responsibilities

•

Operate CAT 216B3 Skid Steer Loader (51 HP, 635 kg ROC, 0.37 m³ bucket) forloading, grading, and material handling.

•

Operate CAT 426 Backhoe Loader (93 HP, MP bucket with forks, extendablestick, 1.0 m³ loader bucket, 0.18 m³ backhoe bucket) for excavation, trenching,and utility works.

•

Conduct daily equipment checks (fluids, hydraulics, tires, attachments).

•

Follow site instructions, method statements, and HSE procedures.

•

Perform minor maintenance and report mechanical issues.

•

Maintain operation logs and ensure safe work around personnel and utilities.

Requirements

•

Valid UAE Heavy Equipment Operator License – Category 8 (Abu Dhabi).

•

Minimum 3 years of experience operating skid steer and backhoe loaders.

•

Knowledge of ADM safety regulations and construction site protocols.

Preferred

•Experience with CAT machinery specifically.•Abu Dhabi or nearby areas

Desired Candidate Profile

High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
Possession of a valid Heavy Equipment Operator certification or equivalent.
Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience operating loaders and other heavy construction equipment.
Demonstrated understanding of construction site safety protocols and best practices.
