Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage daily operations of the company’s heavy vehicle fleet.
- Plan, coordinate, and monitor transport activities to ensure timely delivery and efficient vehicle utilization.
- Supervise and schedule drivers, ensuring adherence to safety and operational standards.
- Maintain proper records of vehicle maintenance, fuel consumption, trip logs, and delivery schedules.
- Monitor vehicle performance and coordinate with the maintenance team for repairs and servicing.
- Ensure compliance with UAE traffic and transport regulations.
- Manage route planning and optimize cost-effective delivery operations.
- Handle driver performance, attendance, and disciplinary matters professionally.
- Coordinate with clients, dispatchers, and management for smooth logistics operations.
- Prepare daily/weekly/monthly transport reports and suggest improvements in operations.
Desired Candidate Profile
Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience managing a fleet of at least 10 heavy trucks
