Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Safely operate a 3-axle automatic heavy truck, adhering strictly to all traffic laws and company safety protocols, ensuring zero incidents.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on the 2025 model truck, meticulously checking brakes, tires, lights, and fluid levels to guarantee operational readiness.
- Efficiently load and unload cargo, utilizing proper lifting techniques and securing methods to prevent damage and ensure stability during transit.
- Navigate complex routes and traffic conditions using advanced GPS and navigation systems, optimizing delivery times and fuel efficiency.
- Respond promptly and effectively to any vehicle malfunctions or emergencies, implementing troubleshooting steps and coordinating with maintenance teams as needed.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Possess a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable experience operating heavy-duty trucks, preferably with automatic transmissions.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs and climbing in and out of the cab.
- Excellent spatial reasoning and problem-solving skills for efficient route planning and navigation.
