Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Heavy Vehicle Mechanic to inspect, maintain, and repair heavy-duty vehicles and equipment such as trucks, buses, and construction machinery. The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to safety and quality workmanship.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in heavy vehicles

• Perform routine maintenance, including oil changes, brake checks, and tire services

• Repair or replace defective parts such as engines, transmissions, and braking systems

• Conduct inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure vehicles are in safe operating condition

• Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify faults

• Maintain accurate service and repair records

• Ensure compliance with safety standards and company procedures

• Respond to breakdowns and provide emergency repairs when required

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Heavy Vehicle Mechanic or similar role

• Candidates must have minimum 2+ yrs experience in UAE with Valid Emirates ID.

• Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems

• Ability to use diagnostic tools and repair equipment

• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Physical stamina and ability to handle heavy equipment

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma or certification in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Technology, or related field

• Valid driver’s license (Heavy Vehicle License preferred)

• Relevant certifications (e.g., ASE, OEM training) are an advantage

Preferred Skills

• Experience with fleet maintenance

• Welding and fabrication skills

• Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)
