School Description:
An established international school in Cairo is seeking a passionate and experienced History/Humanities Teacher to join its dedicated Secondary team. The school follows the British Curriculum and is committed to fostering academic excellence, critical thinking, and global awareness. This position offers the chance to work within a collaborative, diverse, and well-resourced school community.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality History/Humanities lessons in line with the British Curriculum.
Create an engaging and inclusive learning environment that encourages analytical thinking and curiosity.
Plan and deliver creative lessons that support students historical understanding and humanities skill development.
Assess student progress effectively and provide meaningful feedback.
Build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
Contribute to curriculum planning, assessment, and wider school initiatives.
Requirements:
A recognised teaching qualification.
A degree in a relevant subject area.
Proven experience teaching within the British Curriculum (essential).
Strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for developing students understanding of the humanities.
