Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Stay updated with the latest appliance technologies and repair methodologies through continuous learning and training.
  • Maintain an organized inventory of parts and tools, ensuring efficient access and minimizing downtime during service calls.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot a wide array of appliance malfunctions, from refrigerators to washing machines, using advanced diagnostic tools and techniques.
  • Perform accurate repairs, replacements, and installations of appliance components, ensuring optimal performance and longevity of the appliances.
  • Adhere strictly to safety protocols and guidelines, protecting yourself and customers from potential hazards.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Possesses a high school diploma or equivalent; a technical degree or certification in appliance repair is highly advantageous.
  • Holds relevant certifications, such as EPA certification for handling refrigerants, demonstrating expertise and compliance.
  • Has a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in repairing a variety of home appliances, showcasing proven ability.
  • Demonstrates proficiency in diagnosing and fixing diverse appliance brands and models, highlighting versatility.
  • Exhibits strong technical skills, including the ability to read schematics, use multimeters, and understand electrical circuits.
