Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Deliver engaging and comprehensive instruction to Grade 3 students across core subjects, following the school s curriculum and educational standards.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and safe classroom environment that encourages student participation, curiosity, and respect.
- Develop and implement lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities, ensuring all students achieve academic success.
- Assess and monitor student progress through formative and summative assessments, providing constructive feedback and support.
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student performance, classroom activities, and upcoming events.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers, administrators, and support staff to enhance the overall educational experience.
- Integrate technology and innovative teaching methods to enrich classroom learning and promote digital literacy.
- Organize and participate in school events, extracurricular activities, and professional development sessions.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and behavioral incidents in accordance with school policies.
- Foster a culture of respect, responsibility, and lifelong learning among students.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor s degree in Education or a related field.
- 4 to 6 years of experience teaching at the elementary or primary school level, preferably with Grade 3 students.
- Demonstrated ability to create engaging lesson plans and deliver effective classroom instruction.
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to foster a positive learning environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Proficiency in integrating technology into teaching and learning activities.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with educational best practices.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
