Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging lessons across core subjects such as language, math, science, and social studies (based on school level).
  • Maintain a structured and positive classroom environment that supports academic and personal growth.
  • Monitor and assess student progress; provide feedback and support where needed.
  • Develop lesson plans aligned with curriculum objectives and learning outcomes.
  • Foster students social and emotional development through mentoring and guidance.
  • Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about student progress and well-being.
  • Maintain attendance, records, and student portfolios accurately.
  • Identify learning needs and coordinate with specialists or counselors for additional support.
  • Organize classroom activities, celebrations, and events that promote team-building and a positive school culture.
  • Collaborate with other teachers and school staff to ensure a cohesive learning experience for students.
  • Enforce school rules and policies consistently and fairly.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s degree in Education or a related field.
  • State or national teaching certification (where applicable).
  • Proven experience as a teacher.
  • Strong command of the curriculum relevant to the assigned grade level.
