Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Design and specify hose assemblies, considering pressure ratings, fluid compatibility, and application environments to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Conduct thorough testing and analysis of hose materials and assemblies, including burst pressure, abrasion resistance, and flexibility, to validate designs and identify potential weaknesses.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, manufacturing, and quality control, to ensure seamless integration of hose solutions into overall product designs and customer requirements.
  • Investigate and resolve hose-related failures, conducting root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions to prevent future issues and improve product reliability.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Possesses a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, providing a strong foundation in engineering principles.
  • Holds relevant certifications such as Certified Fluid Power Specialist (CFPS) or similar, demonstrating specialized knowledge of fluid power systems.
  • Demonstrates a minimum of 5 years of experience in the hose industry, showcasing practical experience and familiarity with hose applications.
  • Expertise in the Oil and Gas or Manufacturing industries, indicating a deep understanding of industry-specific challenges and requirements.
