The Role Of The Host/ess

We are excited to offer an opportunity for a Host/ess to join a new takeover project in the UAE: Al Zorah Beach Resorts in Ajman, UAE, as it embarks on an inspiring transformation journey. This evolution will culminate in the grand opening of Four Seasons Resort Ajman at Al Zorah in late 2026.

The ideal candidate is a confident communicator with strong interpersonal and collaborative skills, able to multitask with grace while remaining open to fresh ideas and new approaches. With a blend of creativity, precision, and analytical thinking, they possess a sharp eye for detail, a proactive mindset, and the ability to stay organized and results-driven in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and provide exceptional service
• Ensure to possess a high standard of personal appearance and grooming at all times.
• Collaborate well with other team members working other functions of the restaurant
• Manage the hostess stand and keeping the area neat, clean and tidy at all times
• Make and review reservations on the table management software and make necessary improvements for the table layouts, timings of bookings where deemed necessary
• To establish a rapport with guests, providing guest recognition and good customer relationships.
• To ensure buffet tags are made complying with the standards when required in the outlet.
  
  

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum 1 Year of experience as a hostess in a luxury resort/ hotel/ upscale restaurant or similar hospitality environment
• College education or equivalent experience.
• Previous employment experience in a similar position will be advantageous
• Requires the ability to operate computer equipment / familiar with systems and table management software
• Requires to be able to read, write and speak in English fluently, bilingual is an advantage
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to adapt and be a team player
