As a Hostess at Waldorf Astoria Dubai International Financial Centre, you are responsible for serving guests in a friendly, timely, and efficient manner to deliver an excellent experience. You will also be required to have extensive knowledge of menu offerings. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

• Extend a warm welcome to all guests arriving to the outlet.
• Escorting the guests to their table and presenting the menu.
• Ensure extensive knowledge of menu and all outlet products.
• Manage guest queries in a friendly, timely and efficient manner.
• Follow correct reporting procedures, if faced with difficulties.
• Maintain highest level of grooming including uniform dress code, cleanliness and personal hygiene.
• Answering phone calls courteously and promptly, taking messages as necessary, which are legible and accurate and passing them on to the concerned person without delay.
• Receiving and confirming restaurant reservations, while adhering to the telephone etiquette and paying high attention to any preferences, dietary or allergy requirements.
• Ensure that any guest preferences or special occasions communicated during the restaurant booking are cascaded with the team.
• Engage with the guests and assist in providing each guest with a tailored guest experience, based on their needs and preferences.
• Ensure excellent knowledge of the restaurant's sitting arrangements.
