Roles & Responsibilities

The Hostess (Arabic) is the first point of contact for guests entering the hotel s Arabic restaurant or food outlet. This role ensures a warm, welcoming, and culturally respectful greeting and seating experience for guests, reflecting Arabic hospitality traditions. The Hostess will manage reservations, coordinate seating arrangements, and assist with guest inquiries in Arabic and other languages as needed.

YOUR DAY-TO-DAY:

  • Greet guests warmly upon arrival with Arabic hospitality etiquette and offer assistance in seating them promptly.
  • Manage reservations, guest waiting lists, and table assignments efficiently.
  • Maintain clear communication with restaurant staff to coordinate smooth seating and service flow.
  • Provide guests with menus, explain daily specials or promotions, and answer basic questions about the menu in Arabic.
  • Handle guest inquiries, requests, and concerns professionally and escalate issues to management when necessary.
  • Ensure the reception and waiting areas are clean, organized, and welcoming.
  • Assist in coordinating guest arrivals for special events, private dining, or large groups.
  • Maintain accurate records of reservations and guest preferences.
  • Collaborate with the service and kitchen teams to enhance guest satisfaction.
  • Uphold grooming, uniform, and appearance standards in line with hotel policies.
  • Promote a positive, respectful, and culturally sensitive atmosphere reflecting Arabic traditions.

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:

  • Fluent in Arabic and good command of English (additional languages are a plus).
  • Previous experience as a hostess, front desk staff, or in guest services, preferably in a hospitality or food & beverage setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Warm, friendly, and professional demeanor with a strong customer service orientation.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of Arabic dining customs and hospitality culture is highly desirable.
  • Basic computer skills for handling reservations and communication.
