Follows all relevant instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.

Follows the day-to-day operations related to own job in the catering services (food preparation, presentation and all other support services) to ensure continuity of work.

Assists in the preparation of most basic foodstuff using simple kitchen utensils and equipment as directed ensuring availability and freshness of all basic items.

Assists in the setting up of dining areas including erecting and moving dining furniture, setting tables etc. in order to serve food in clean and organised premises.

Under supervision, undertakes work that falls within the range of general kitchen and cleaning duties within the kitchen and dining areas and assists in waste materials removal and disposal.

Serves food and beverages to customers and their guests in the assigned catering operations area, provides a courteous, professional, efficient and flexible service consistent with company s standards in order to maximise customer satisfaction.

Complies with all relevant food hygiene, safety, quality and environmental management policies, procedures and controls to ensure a healthy and safe work environment and quality products and services are provided to customers.
