Roles & Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced and highly organized House Manager to oversee the daily operations and long-term maintenance of a private residence. The ideal candidate will be a proactive, detail-oriented individual with exceptional leadership and communication skills, dedicated to maintaining a high standard of living and ensuring the smooth functioning of the household. This role requires discretion, adaptability, and a strong understanding of luxury service standards./p> Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage all aspects of the household's daily operations, ensuring efficiency and excellence.
  • Supervise, train, and schedule household staff, including housekeepers, chefs, chauffeurs, and gardeners, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Develop and manage household budgets, track expenses, and provide regular financial reports to the principals.
  • Coordinate and manage relationships with external vendors, contractors, and service providers for maintenance, repairs, and special projects, ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness.
  • Plan and execute household events, dinner parties, and gatherings, including guest management, catering coordination, and decor.
  • Manage household inventories, including groceries, supplies, and personal items, ensuring adequate stock levels.
  • Implement and maintain household systems and protocols for security, maintenance, and emergency preparedness.
  • Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of the property, including landscaping, interior furnishings, and technical systems.
  • Handle all administrative tasks related to the household, such as managing calendars, correspondence, and travel arrangements.
  • Ensure the privacy and confidentiality of the principals and all household affairs.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for the principals regarding all household matters, anticipating needs and proactively addressing issues.
  • Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules for all household equipment and systems.
  • Manage household security systems and protocols, ensuring the safety and privacy of the residents.
