Housekeeping Attendant InterContinental

The key deliverables for this role are:

Respect guest privacy and follow proper procedures when entering rooms.
Maintain housekeeping trolleys and closets, keeping them stocked and organized.
Clean and arrange guest rooms, including making beds, changing linens, vacuuming, dusting, and refresh all areas to InterContinental standard.
Replenish room amenities, towels, toiletries, and other supplies as needed.
Check that all appliances and fixtures are in working order and report any issues.
Respond promptly to guest requests and inquiries, providing friendly and professional service.
Handle lost and found items according to hotel procedures.
Follow all health and safety, hygiene, and infection control guidelines.
Support team members and assist with cleaning public areas or other zones as needed.
Do the right thing by reporting maintenance issues, damaged, or missing items in guest rooms to the supervisor.
Take on other ad-hoc duties like a true team player. Be flexible and ready to assist with any other tasks when required by management.
Participate in daily briefings and training sessions.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS REQUIRED

At least 1 year experience in a housekeeping role in a 5-star hotel.
Professional demeanor and excellent customer service skills.
Excellent attention to detail and pride in cleanliness.
Ability to follow directions and complete tasks efficiently.
Understanding of cleanliness standards and safety protocols.
Basic communication skills in English.
Flexibility to work varied shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Physically fit and capable of performing tasks that require lifting, pushing, pulling, bending, kneeling, and standing for extended periods of time.
Familiarity with cleaning chemicals and safety procedures.
