Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Clean, tidy, and arrange guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas according to hotel standards.
  • Change bed linens, replace towels, and restock guest amenities.
  • Vacuum carpets, sweep/mop floors, dust furniture, and clean windows.
  • Report maintenance issues, lost items, or damages immediately to the supervisor.
  • Maintain cleaning equipment and ensure proper use of cleaning chemicals.
  • Ensure guest privacy and handle belongings with utmost care.
  • Assist in laundry or linen handling as needed.
  • Uphold hygiene, sanitation, and safety standards at all times.
  • Provide excellent service and respond promptly to guest requests.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience as a Room Attendant or Housekeeper in a hotel/resort setting.
  • Basic knowledge of cleaning materials, techniques, and hygiene standards.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Physically fit to handle long hours of standing, bending, and cleaning tasks.
  • Attention to detail, reliability, and a positive attitude toward guests and colleagues.
  • Ability to work in shifts, weekends, and under minimal supervision.
  • Candidates with previous GCC or overseas experience preferred.
