Roles & Responsibilities
The Housekeeping Attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of guest rooms, corridors, and assigned public areas to ensure a high standard of hygiene and guest satisfaction. This role plays a key part in delivering a comfortable and welcoming environment for guests.
YOUR DAY-TO-DAY:
- Clean, tidy, and prepare guest rooms daily, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and replenishing amenities.
- Clean bathrooms thoroughly, including sanitizing toilets, sinks, showers, mirrors, and floors.
- Ensure all guest supplies are replenished and room setups meet brand or hotel standards.
- Respond promptly to guest requests and follow up to ensure satisfaction.
- Handle guest belongings with care and report any lost & found items to the supervisor.
- Notify maintenance of any room or equipment issues (e.g., plumbing, lighting, air conditioning).
- Maintain cleaning equipment and tools in good working condition.
- Follow safety, sanitation, and hygiene policies at all times.
- Assist in cleaning public areas or special assignments as directed by supervisors.
- Report any suspicious behaviour or items immediately as per security protocols.
