Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Task Description:

  • Responsible for coordinating the planning and of the Annual Cleaning Plan in
    compliance with Facilities Management Services Provider (FMS) to comply with
    all relevant contractual SLA s and industry standards, including BICS.
  • Responsible for reviewing training standards for all FMS, soft services (Cleaning
    and Housekeeping) staff and providing feedback against industry best practice.
  • Responsible for the implementation of the PMS Procedure including observations
    / NCRs to ensure the FMS is complying with contractual deliverables, SLA s and
    health, safety and environmental standards, to ensure a continual improvement
    process is fully embedded.

Contract Scope of works requirements:

  • To oversee and guide activities of FM contractor and subcontractors personnel
    to ensure complete and satisfactory performance of the work defined in the
    contract relating to all facility soft services.
  • Implementing continuous improvement in all services lines drive value to add and
    control costs.
  • Ownership of KPI s and metrics to manage performance and governance
    process for daily management operations.
  • Ensuring soft services are provided by managing contractors and suppliers per
    scope of work.
  • Supervisory rile involves contract performance management, people s
    management, decision making, route cause analysis, inspection and audit,
    readiness, communication, management of planning/scheduling and assignment
    and drive overall improvement of productivity.
  • Meet with all standard operating procedures, codes, and regulations, ensure that
    the BICSc standards are being delivered by the service contractor across the
    portfolio and to share best practices.
  • Ensure areas and processes are in optimum condition for audit readiness and
    compliance.
  • Execute daily building inspections, and monthly job walks ensuring contracted
    scope is met.
  • Monitor all on-ground activities handled by FM
  • Ensure that the preparation of all areas in readiness for the use by VVIP guests,
    to maximize a positive experience including but not limited to the following:
    • Ensure all Housekeeping activities, including laundry, linen cleaning,
      replenishment is completed to a very high standard.
    • Ensure approved consumable items are available in all areas as per
      agreed schedule, including tissue, toiletries etc.

Desired Candidate Profile

Qualifications:

  • Preference for a diploma / Degree holder in hotel / hospitality industry.
  • Minimum MBICSc Qualified.
  • 5+ years in Facilities management.
