Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
What You ll Do
- Lead and supervise housekeeping staff to deliver consistent service standards
- Conduct inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and facilities for cleanliness and compliance
- Manage housekeeping inventory, supplies, and equipment
- Train, mentor, and motivate team members to maintain productivity and service quality
- Address guest complaints promptly and provide effective solutions
- Coordinate with other departments for special events, VIP requirements, or operational needs
- Implement safety and security procedures within the department
- Prepare and manage staff schedules for effective shift coverage
- Monitor departmental expenses and maintain budget control
- Stay updated on industry practices and introduce innovative housekeeping solutions
Ideal Profile
- 1 2 years of supervisory experience in housekeeping within the hospitality sector
- Strong leadership and team management abilities
- Excellent organizational and attention-to-detail skills
- Knowledge of cleaning methods, products, and safety procedures
- Proficient in hotel management software and Microsoft Office
- Fluent in English with strong communication skills
- Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and holidays
- Physically fit with stamina to perform housekeeping duties when needed
- High school diploma required; bachelor s degree in Hospitality Management is an advantage
