Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

What You ll Do

  • Lead and supervise housekeeping staff to deliver consistent service standards
  • Conduct inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and facilities for cleanliness and compliance
  • Manage housekeeping inventory, supplies, and equipment
  • Train, mentor, and motivate team members to maintain productivity and service quality
  • Address guest complaints promptly and provide effective solutions
  • Coordinate with other departments for special events, VIP requirements, or operational needs
  • Implement safety and security procedures within the department
  • Prepare and manage staff schedules for effective shift coverage
  • Monitor departmental expenses and maintain budget control
  • Stay updated on industry practices and introduce innovative housekeeping solutions

Ideal Profile

  • 1 2 years of supervisory experience in housekeeping within the hospitality sector
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities
  • Excellent organizational and attention-to-detail skills
  • Knowledge of cleaning methods, products, and safety procedures
  • Proficient in hotel management software and Microsoft Office
  • Fluent in English with strong communication skills
  • Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and holidays
  • Physically fit with stamina to perform housekeeping duties when needed
  • High school diploma required; bachelor s degree in Hospitality Management is an advantage
