Roles & Responsibilities

Housekeeping Supervisor


Main responsibilities:

  • Manage and supervise all of your team's tasks.

  • Ensure the cleanliness of rooms, balconies, corridors, linen offices and housekeeping pantries in accordance with established standards and procedures.

  • Supervise public spaces.

  • Ensure the replenishment of customer supplies.

  • Respond quickly and courteously to customer requests.

  • Report any anomalies or malfunctions in the rooms via the PMS system

  • Keep equipment in good clean and working order.

  • Maintain the daily report of sections/floors.

  • Lead daily briefings with the team at floor level.

  • Regularly carry out room inspection checklists.

  • Report any unusual behavior or activity on floors to the Assistant General Housekeeper.

  • Accurately record the status of rooms in the assigned section.

  • Comply with the hotel's health, safety and hygiene policies.

  • Participate in required meetings and training sessions.

  • Fully understand the differences between guest levels (VIP) and room categories.

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelor's degree (minimum required); a diploma in hospitality is an asset.

  • At least 2 years of experience in housekeeping in a luxury hotel environment.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a supervisory position (preferred); basic training skills are required.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure.
  • Keen attention to detail and ability to meet demanding standards.
  • Ability to follow instructions from management and complete tasks independently.
  • Friendly and respectful attitude towards customers and team members.
  • My computer systems experience: Microsoft Suite, Opera Cloud.
