Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

A. Housekeeping Operations

  • Supervise daily housekeeping activities across camp rooms, common areas, restrooms, dining halls, offices, and site facilities.
  • Plan and assign duties to housekeeping staff and ensure timely completion.
  • Conduct daily inspections to maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and proper sanitation.
  • Ensure cleaning equipment, chemicals, and materials are available and safely handled.

B. Staff Supervision & Training

  • Monitor attendance, performance, and discipline of housekeeping staff.
  • Train staff in cleaning procedures, chemical usage, waste management, and hygiene standards.
  • Ensure staff follow company safety rules, PPE requirements, and work instructions.

Hygiene & Safety Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with Qatar hygiene standards, food safety guidelines (if applicable), and NSH safety procedures.
  • Report unsafe conditions, maintenance issues, or health risks to management.
  • Support health and safety audits or inspections.

D. Inventory & Asset Management

  • Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies, toiletries, and chemicals.
  • Prepare requisitions and ensure cost-effective usage of materials.

Desired Candidate Profile

Qualifications & Experience

Mandatory

  • Minimum 35 years experience in housekeeping supervision (camp, hotel, or facility management).
  • Experience in GCC, ideally with large workforce accommodations.
  • Basic communication skills in English; knowledge of Hindi / Malayalam / Arabic is an advantage.

Preferred

  • Experience with oil & gas project camps or construction site facilities.
  • Training or certification in housekeeping, hygiene, or facility management.
  • Ability to manage multicultural staff.

  • Good time management and task planning.
  • Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, sanitation standards, and waste handling.
  • Ability to handle staff issues professionally.
