A luxury Resort/Hotel in Al Ain is seeking an experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee daily housekeeping operations. The ideal candidate should be professional, organized, and capable of managing housekeeping staff while ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction. The role requires maintaining strict hygiene, cleanliness, and safety standards across all rooms and public areas, while ensuring smooth operations and an exceptional experience for guests.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead a team of housekeeping staff, including assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and providing ongoing coaching and feedback.
• Develop and implement daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning schedules to ensure consistent coverage and operational efficiency.
• Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, back-of-house facilities, and restrooms to ensure compliance with cleanliness and hygiene standards.
• Ensure strict adherence to food safety, health, and safety regulations, particularly in areas adjacent to food service operations.
• Maintain accurate records of cleaning activities, inventory usage, equipment maintenance, and staff attendance.
• Prepare detailed reports on housekeeping operations, including performance metrics, incident reports, and recommendations for improvement.
• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, linens, and equipment; coordinate reordering to prevent shortages.
• Address guest complaints related to cleanliness promptly and professionally, ensuring resolution and follow-up.
• Train new staff on procedures, safety protocols, brand standards, and the use of cleaning equipment and chemicals.
• Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement within the housekeeping department.
• Collaborate with other departments (e.g., Front Office, Maintenance, Food & Beverage) to ensure seamless operations and guest experience.
