Roles & Responsibilities
As an HR Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the human resources department by handling day-to-day administrative tasks, ensuring the smooth operation of the entire HR function. Your role will involve a broad range of HR-related activities, including recruitment support, employee record maintenance, and facilitation of HR projects. You will serve as a key point of contact for employees, answering questions related to HR policies, employee benefits, and other HR-related matters. Your ability to handle information with confidentiality and demonstrate a high level of organizational skills will be crucial for ensuring the development and retention of a talented workforce. Responsibilities
- Assist with the recruitment process, including posting job openings and scheduling interviews.
- Maintain and update employee records accurately in the HR information systems.
- Conduct initial screenings by preparing and organizing interview materials and documentation.
- Support HR projects, such as employee engagement programs and training initiatives.
- Respond to internal and external HR-related inquiries or requests and provide assistance.
- Prepare and modify documents including correspondence, reports, drafts, memos, and emails.
- Assist in payroll preparation by providing relevant data, such as absences and leaves.
- Coordinate HR events, meetings, and training sessions efficiently and effectively.
- Help with the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition to the company.
- Assist in developing HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations.
- Foster a positive employee relations environment and address any concerns promptly.
- Maintain the confidentiality of sensitive employee and company information at all times.
Requirements
- Bachelor s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- Proven experience as an HR Assistant or similar role is desirable.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to handle data with integrity and in a confidential manner.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS software is advantageous.
- Capability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
